The Sampler is coming the Sampler is coming! That’s right, the Downtown Dalton Spring Sampler returns on April 26th from 5:30 to 8:30 PM and it is going to be the best one ever! The Downtown Dalton Development Authority has put together an amazing line-up that is sure to satisfy the pallet. If you have never been to the Downtown Dalton Sampler, there are many reasons why you should definitely attend this year. Especially if you like local flavor foods, craft beer and moonshine.
First, the Downtown Dalton Sampler is on a Thursday this year and makes for a great date night with your significant other or a great hang out night with your friends. $30 is the cost of the Sampler this year and for that small price, you get a lot! From lunch and dinner options, to craft beer, moonshine and sweets, $30 is sure to fill you and your traveling sampler partner(s) to the brim. You and your partner(s) will whisk around downtown, bouncing from one great downtown location to the next sampling some of the best food and drink in Northwest Georgia. You will also get to meet many of the people behind the scenes of the downtown dining and shopping establishments as they serve you some of their favorite and most popular options.
Next, the Downtown Dalton Samper highlights some of the best food and shopping options in ALL of Dalton. The Sampler displays that great local flavor that is attractive these days. More and more people are opting to visit local restaurants and shops instead of the big box brand locations. This could be because local flavor options are usually homemade, fresh or organic compared to the frozen entrees that many brand locations serve up. Attending the Downtown Dalton Sampler will let you taste that local flavor that is unique to Dalton. Dalton is a very diverse city and that diversity shows in our local dining and shopping establishments. No longer do you have to go inside, sit down, and drink your adult beverage and then head on to the next location. Now, you can grab it and go, so long as that adult beverage is in a plastic, clear cup. Lastly, the Downtown Dalton Trolley, sponsored by the Dalton Visitors Bureau, will be out making its normal rounds during the Sampler. The Trolley typically runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 PM until Mid-night. So, come on over to Dalton, grab a hotel room, and let the FREE trolley get you from your hotel room down to the Sampler and back again. It’s a stress free, responsible good time!
