Two GREAT acts take the stage THIS Friday night, July 13th at Burr Park for the Downtown Dalton Summer Music Series. Kyle Wiley will open the FREE Friday night concert and Jimmy Dormire and the Peace Merchants will be headlining. It’s gonna be “Off the rails!”

Native to New Mexico, Kyle Wyley grew up on a cattle ranch where he found his passion for singing and songwriting. In 2000, he moved to Nashville, bringing a collection of thoughts and songs to be honed with some of the city’s finest songwriters. Kyle’s sound has evolved into everything he was naturally drawn to as a child. The raw truth of a country lyric, the haunting vocal of a man who lives what he sings, and the intrigue and beauty in imperfect. Kyle’s music is honest.

Having toured many years with Grammy nominated Atlantic recording artists “Confederate Railroad” and more recent the late legendary Father of JamBand “Col.Bruce Hampton”, guitarist Jimmy Dormire brings his group “Peace Merchants” to the stage featuring Ward Wilson on Drums alongside Gary Hicks on Bass. Jimmy’s music being rooted in Southern Rock, Blues and Jazz, flows with JamBand spirit alongside a deep message of peace.

The Friday Night Summer Music Series has truly blossomed this year. More and more people are coming Downtown for live music, adult beverages, good food and great fellowship. Admission is FREE for the whole family, so come on over to Burr Park, located at 101 South Hamilton Street in Dalton’s Historic Downtown, and enjoy Jimmy Dormire and the Peace Merchants.
