Gain insight into teen suicide from Richard Blackwell, in memory of his daughter, Alex. One of the things Mr. Blackwell will talk about is that his daughter texted about 10 of her friends about her thoughts of suicide and none of them responded. That occurs typically because people just don’t know how to handle that kind of information. We will also give out pockets cards with helpful information for teachers, friends and parents to use in a situation when someone indicates they are thinking about suicide.
