The Creative Arts Guild invites the community to join us for our May Gallery Opening on Friday, May 3rd from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
The opening reception is free and open to the public; light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. This month we have three exciting new exhibits opening across the building!
In Gallery FIVE20 we will be presenting “Native Clay” a collection of work from painter Amanda Brazier and sculptors Stephanie Martin (of Annie Hanks Ceramics) and Shadow May. Each of these artists create work using clay from our region. In Jonas Hall, a new body of work by artist Manolis Tzortzakakis – “The Journey” – will be on display. In Tzortzakakis’ exhibit we see an earnest exploration of an newcomer’s struggle with finding home in a new land. Finally, in Gallery ONE11, American Abstract artist Anna Carll will be sharing “What Remains; an exploration of the Erosion Series” a look at her artist practice in a variety of mediums, including painting, book making, weavings, and more.
