Nick Stuard is a 21 year old award winning singer/songwriter in Dalton, Georgia. Born in Tucson, Arizona, he moved to Georgia when he was just 6 months old. At the age of 5, he started singing in the church youth choir. In April of 2011 he joined the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association (GCGMA) and has been afforded the opportunities to perform at such venues in Georgia as Six Flags Over Georgia, Lake Winnie, Hard Rock Café Atlanta, Prater’s Mill, Do Dahs, Relay for Life, Country Junction, Pumpkin Fest, the Whitfield County Courthouse for the National Day of Prayer, and more. In Tennessee he has also been blessed to have performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Country Tonight Theater in Pigeon Forge, Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Hard Rock Café Nashville, Hard Rock Café Memphis, and Chattanooga Choo-Choo to name a few. Nick recorded his first CD with Sweet Southern Entertainment titled “Good Directions” in October 2011. In December 2011 Nick received the GCGMA Male Vocalist of the Year and Most Promising Entertainer in his age category, as well as CD of the Year. In March 2012 he competed and won at the national level in Pigeon Forge, TN at the North American Country Music Association, Int’l (NACMAI) Awards Show-Male Entertainer of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year. In March 2013 he will compete in the same categories at the NACMAI nationals in Pigeon Forge. Nick wrote and recorded his first original song after the tragic accident that claimed the life of his father. The song is titled “Daddy’s Grace” and is about his dad. His 2nd CD, Country Driven has just been recorded and is available to purchase. Nick is a Freshman at the University of Georgia where he is studying Engineering.
