Join us for the Juneteenth Parade, a vibrant procession honoring the rich history and cultural significance of Juneteenth. March alongside us, wave a flag of liberation, and let your voice be heard as we come together in solidarity, remembrance, and hope for a brighter future. Come sporting your Juneteenth shirts and waving your flags as we celebrate our collective freedom. Whether you’re walking or driving in the parade or waving from the sidewalk, we want to see you in Downtown Dalton. Lineup starts at 9:30am at First Baptist Church of Dalton, 311 N Thornton Ave.
The parade route will start at First Baptist Church, down Waugh St, right onto Pentz St, and end at The Emery Center. Free Emery Center tours will be given after the parade.
If you want to participate in the parade, please contact Marisa Kelley at (913) 426-7870.
