Two events in 1, register for the 5k Trail Run or the 1 mile fun run/walk at Haig Mill Trail. The event benefits the DEO Clinic, a locally organized clinic offering free healthcare to uninsured, lower income adults from Whitfield and Murray Counties. Last year the clinic provided 3822 appointments and labs to 979 individuals who did not have access to healthcare! This work is possible because DEO organizes more than 80 volunteers and a small staff to offer appointments 4 days each week.

This year’s race honors Dr. Carl Lancaster. Retired from more than 40 years of service as a Diabetes Specialist, Dr. Lancaster now practices as a volunteer at the DEO Clinic. Show your appreciation to his amazing contributions to the health of our community by supporting the event on September 14.
