Dalton State celebrates Black History Month on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. in room 105 of the Brown Center with Dr. Maurice Hobson, of Georgia State University. Hobson will speak on his new book, “The Legend of the Black Mecca: Politics and Class in the Making of Modern Atlanta.” The event is free and open to the public.
