A community-wide Good Friday service will be held at The Recreation Place, a ministry of ChristChurch EPC, in Dalton at 6:30 PM on Friday, April 19th. The service is a Tenebrae Service and is a collaboration of several area churches that will feature a community choir as well as soloists, duets, and ensembles from various churches. The Tenebrae Service, meaning “Shadows”, is based on a traditional late night/early morning Good Friday service observed by Christians since the 12th century. Join us for this unique service as we remember Jesus Christ’s death and sacrifice through Scripture readings and song. The Recreation Place is located at 510 S Tibbs Rd, Dalton.
