In 1830, not far from this spot, Mr. G.K. Malone built the Goat Tavern, Dalton’s first bar. Serving weary travelers and intrepid locals alike, it helped to plant the seed of what is now Downtown Dalton. Now located in the historic Belk-Gallant building, we are proud to continue that legacy, and humbly invite you to be our guest at The Gallant Goat. Our signature Craft cocktails are the best around but if you are in the mood for something different, Don’t worry, we have you covered! If we have the ingredients, We will make it for you!
