Formerly known as Emery Street School, The Emery Center was first constructed in 1886 and today it is an African American Heritage and multicultural center that has a 250-seat auditorium and houses the Cornelia M. Easley Media Center, Enduring Echoes Memory and Honor Room, Children’s Learning Center, The Military Room and much more.
