The Dalton Freight Depot, located in Downtown Dalton, is the ideal place to capture images and video of these modern machines. Additionally, the depot has live audio feed from train radios and a live streaming web cam for online watchers.
The Dalton Freight Depot is home to the Bandy Heritage Center, a display of historical collections from Northwest Georgia. Currently, history of the textile industry in Dalton is on display.
The Dalton Freight Depot is the location of the Dalton Welcome Center, operated by the Dalton Convention & Visitors Bureau and features a gift shop inside. The Depot is open from Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm.
