Couple from Eastern Ky appearing in popular Moonshine show on Discovery Channel

Donnie Benton & Teresa Coomer Mays both of Beattyville, Ky is part of the new cast for the 8th season of the Moonshiners Show.

Donnie Benton grew up in Old Landing Ky. His granddaddy was a Moonshiner. His Grandaddy always told him “there’s no good in making moonshine, so you shouldn’t do it” Donnie says “what better way to get someone to do something, than to tell them they can’t, and I think my Grandpa knew that”.

Teresa Coomer Mays grew up on Log Shoal holler in Beattyville Ky. In that holler her grandpa and great uncle made Moonshine. Teresa is now learning more about the art from her boyfriend Donnie Benton.
