Join the Dalton Brewing Co. for their Grand Opening Celebration!
Saturday, February 24, 12-8pm and Sunday, February 26, 1-5pm we will be closing down the DBC side of W. King Street from Hamilton Street to Pentz Street for a weekend-long block party.
There will be GOOD BEER, good music and good times!
What’s on tap?
Our opening weekend will roll out with a Pale Ale, a Honey Blonde, a Citrus IPA, a Mango IPA, a Hazelnut Coffee Porter, a Kolsch and a Wheat. We will also have a non-alcoholic house-brewed ginger-ale for any non-drinkers and we plan to have a gluten-reduced version of one of our beers on tap as well. After opening we will add and rotate beers regularly.
Because we are expecting a crowd for the opening weekend, we will not be serving taster flights for this event, but once we are open regular business hours you can come in for a flight any time. As an alternative, we will be offering 1/2 and full pours so you can still try a few different beers if you are into exploring a wider palette of flavors.
We can only serve beer to people who are 21 years of age or older with valid ID’s – so please have them handy at the door.
The weekend will kick-off at noon on Saturday with a ribbon cutting ceremony leading right into an awesome lineup of music for the entire weekend.

The event and DBC are family and dog friendly. So bring the whole gang to hang. We will have games to play for all, snacks and juice boxes for purchase for the kiddos and dog bowls (full of water not beer) for your furry friends.
We will have DBC merchandise for sale: T’s, stickers, pint glasses, bottle openers and coozies. And for anyone who would like to take home your favorite DBC beer, growlers will be available to purchase and fill.
DBC is not an eatery and we encourage you to bring your own food with you or visit one of our neighboring restaurants for take-out. We will also have menus of downtown restaurants at the bar so you can call in your order and if you don’t want to leave the taproom, many of them offer food delivery to DBC.
For non beer drinkers, Planet of the Grapes is a few doors down and while you can’t take our beers in to their bar and you can’t bring wine into DBC, beer and wine drinkers can commingle peacefully outside by the bands.
