The Downtown Dalton Summer Music Series presents The Dead Trees with special opening act, The Trailer Hippies, on Friday night, August 17th at 7:30PM.

The Dead Trees –  have a sound reminiscent to folk rock with a lead female vocalist, Tiffany Beavers, that hinges on the dramatic. Greg Parton, a twenty-year veteran of the local and regional music scene, caters well to Beavers’ authentic style. His roots are in 90’s alternative and alternative folk, and it shows in his songwriting ability.

They both live in the area and have been playing together for 3 years. Their first EP will be available for purchase in mid-August 2018.

Trailer Hippies – Are currently sharing their unique mountain/folk/homespun vibe and captivating audiences from N. Georgia to the mountains of West Virginia. Tommy Davis with his rugged Arlo Guthrie style and Silvia with her Emmy Lou like resonance have been described as magically harmonious with a deep soulful sound.
The Trailer Hippies journey has only just begun. They are now writing and preparing for their first CD together, which will be titled “Trailer Hippies for Life”. The sky is the limit for Tommy and Silvia and they plan on taking the “Trailer Hippie” experience across the country. Love, Life & Liberty is the philosophy of these two genuine articles. If you ever get a chance to catch a show you are sure to be touched by their contagious down to earth vibe.

The Downtown Dalton Summer Music Series is a FREE live music event open to the public. Live Music takes place every Friday Night at 7:30PM at the new Burr Performing Arts Park. The Music Series lasts from June 8th until August 31st.

See you Downtown!!!
