Biography

The 93-mile Conasauga River runs through southeast Tennessee before falling off the inclines of the northwest Georgia mountains and making its way through the peaceful Cohutta wilderness. Not only has it been an important resource for Dalton, but it also acts as an opportunity for visitors to get into the woodlands and experience nature.

This is a great starter river for anyone interested in kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddling or camping.

(Turn-off to canoe launch is on a side road off from the address above)
